The Day The Music Died
( You have that song in your head now right ? )
Call me nostalgic, call me an “old man,” or call me whatever you like, but man, what happened to music since the beginning of this century?
Is there any band on the run that has composed a classic lately? If yes please put it in the comments down below.
In 2023/2024, where are the fabulous groups comparable to the crazy years of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s? And just to put another brick in the wall, those groups keep giving concerts today and people are ready to pay a lot of money for it!
We are so lucky to have experienced all of that, to have danced « all night long » to music that’s no longer made!
« Call me » nostalgic if you want, but when I listen to the radio in my car even today, it’s the music from those crazy years that makes me smile and allows me to sing at the top of my lungs alone (fortunately lol).
The '70s
Music is a genuine « time machine! » For every song that marked us, we have a very clear memory! Sometimes we can even almost smell and taste it, thanks to the magic of this music!

Finally the 90’s
I don’t know why the decline of artists who will leave their mark on history is so significant today.
Don’t get me wrong, it is a matter of taste from people who lived this era, Yes, the present years have brought us Lady Gaga ( One of my favorite!), Justin Timberlake, Adele, and others… But where are the rock bands? Why nobody wants to take the pole? Personally, I find it sad for the current generation!
Maybe it’s because music today is easily consumed? Back in the day, our sound system was our pride! Our collection of vinyl records was so important, wasn’t it? And if you experienced the era of Columbia Records where you could order lots of records so easily… It was magical!
Call me nostalgic if you want, but I miss that era! In fact, I would say I miss the music from that time. In case you didn’t notice, Red bold letters links to YouTube ;).
Let’s fight! Sort a speak lol
I can’t wait to read your comments! Also, if you want to write a whole blog to respond to me, i will be glad to publish your text!
